Les Amis Education plays a crucial role in providing personalised education and supporting children in the comfort of their own homes. The primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that caters to the goals and interests of each individual child.
Child-Centered Approach: Embrace our philosophy of focusing on the goals and interests of each child. We design and implement customised learning experiences that foster each child's intellectual, emotional, and social development.
Play-Based Curriculum: We develop and deliver a play-based curriculum that encourages hands-on exploration, imagination, and critical thinking. Create engaging activities and experiences that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and a love for learning. We have a love for outdoor learning and exploration! We use the environment as a third-teacher.
Open Communication: We establish and maintain open lines of communication with the child's family. Regularly collaborate to gain insights into the child's progress, interests, and learning goals and adapt the our program planning accordingly.
Individualized Planning: We create personalised lesson plans and learning objectives tailored to each child's unique needs, strengths, and areas of growth. Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. We have a Buddy program available for families to team-up, and for children to gain further social skills and build strong friendships.
Meaningful Excursions: We plan and facilitate meaningful excursions and field trips that align with the child's educational goals and interests and foster real-world experiences that complement the in-home learning environment and promote hands-on learning opportunities. Les Amis Education also plans educational workshops and excursions for families who homeschool their young ones. Workshops can be themed as per your preferences or organised by us!
Progress Monitoring: If wished, we assess and monitor your child's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for further learning. We ensure we provide ongoing positive feedback to the child and their family, highlighting strengths and offering suggestions for further growth in development.
Collaborative Partnership: At Les Amis Education we work collaboratively with the child's family to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach and engage in regular chats to share insights, exchange ideas, and share any needs or new goals.
